Refund Policy
This page explains our refund policy
with respect to all EPCnet Online subscriptions.
Mercedes-Benz USA will consider
requests for refunds only if our representation of parts information model
coverage is in error; or we have significantly misrepresented the information
available in the EPCnet Online application. In no case will any refund be considered
once two weeks of the subscription time has elapsed.
Requests for credit for unexpected and
prolonged site outages must be made in writing, and will be considered on a
case-by-case and pro-rated basis.
Mercedes-Benz USA LLC will not
consider requests for refunds in cases where:
- Parts information for a certain model is not available, unless it is listed as available on the Coverage page;
-
A particular spare part is not
available or is not depicted in the literature;
-
The user is unable to use the
software or site because the Tech Requirements are not met;
-
The user is unable to learn how
to utilize the software, despite the on-line tutorials;
-
Issues not caused by MBUSA, such
as Internet Service Provider or network problems;
-
Application performance is
considered inadequate due to the speed of the user's Internet connection or
computer configuration.
This list is not intended to be comprehensive or all-inclusive, but to merely illustrate specific instances not
eligible for refund consideration. It is the responsibility of the potential subscriber to determine if the contents of the site meets their needs, if the technical requirements are being met, and all other suitability to needs by reviewing all of the information available for viewing on this site before a subscription is made.
If a refund is offered by MBUSA, the refund will be pro-rated for time already passed, based on the applicable time rate for the usage period. Refunds are made only as a credit to the account of the credit card originally used for the
subscription.
